New voters’ register: Biometric machine breaks down at Oda

<p class="">Reports emanating from Aboabo electoral area at Oda in the Eastern region indicate that the <a href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/news/politics/voters-register-supreme-courts-ruling-makes-nonsense-of-fundamental-human-rights/vedygkm" id="a67205c6-4623-4aab-bbbb-21b250c53ced">biometric registration machine</a> for the new voters’ card has broken down.</p>

<p class="">The massive breakdown is said to have delayed the registration process.</p>

<p class="">Reports by Accra-based Starr FM confirmed the development and described it as worrying as it had stalled the process.</p>

<p class="">It said only two people have been registered over the last hour.</p>

<p class="">The Electoral Commission (EC) official at the centre has reportedly told the worried crowd a technician has been called in to help address the problem.</p>
