Adom FM Music Chart: Medikal’s ‘Omo Ada’ keeps number one spot again

It seems the popularity of Medikal’s single ‘Omo Ada’ is not dying anytime soon. The song has been playing on radio, TV, restaurants, weddings, basically every nook and cranny since the release of the video.

The video featured Medikal’s girlfriend Fella Makafui and dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, hot collabo for a remix right?

Its popularity has helped secured the number spot three weeks in a row.

‘W’asue Me’ by Obaapa Christy is still riding the number two spot.

Stonebwoy’s ‘Kpo Keke’ is climbing back up the charts. The song which features, Medikal, DarkoVibes, Kelvyn Boy and Kwesi Arthur, has pushed ‘Chochomucho’ to claim the number three spot.

The morale song ‘Jama’ is not dying anytime soon. The song has been running up and down the charts but has managed to stay in the top ten for three weeks. ‘Jama’ by DJ Mic Smith featuring Patoranking is number four.

At number five is ‘Chochomucho’ by Bless. It may have stepped down from its number three spot but popularity has kept it in the top five.

Wrowroho’ by Agbeshie featuring Medikal is at number six.

The 2019 hit song ‘I Know’ by Sarkodie featuring Nigeria’s Reekado Banks has taken over the number seven.

‘Proud F boys’ by rapper Tulenkey featuring Eddie Khae even though has been pushed from its spot last week has secured the eighth spot this week managing to remain in the top ten.

The unique touch Kuami Eugene adds to Highlife seems to be keeping his November 2018 release ‘Walaahi’ in the charts. The song has jumped three steps up securing the number nine spot.

Everyone adores a good love song and all the juice that comes with celebrity relationships. It is no surprise Ghanaians love the creativity and story that comes with Medikal’s ‘Ayekoo’ featuring King Promise. The song is number 10 this week.

‘Bra’ by the Made in Ghana ambassador, Okyeame Kwame, featuring is number 11.

‘Mr. Badman’ the song that has two of Ghana’s young celebrated artiste, KiDi and Kwesi Arthur, has claimed the number 12 spot.

‘Poverty’, the song from Empawa100 artiste J.Derobie, has moved to the number 13 after a long stay in the top ten.

The December 2018 release ‘Love you die’ by Hiplife artiste Andy Dosty featuring Kuami Eugene is number 14.

King Promise’s ‘Tokyo’ featuring Wizkid takes the number 15 spot this week a huge jump from number 19.

This is the second week for Dada Hafco’s ‘Fall Down’ on the charts. The song has taken over the number 17 spot.

For its first appearance on the charts, ‘Strong Bond’ by DJ Bridash featuring Yaw Berk and King Maaga, is number 18.

One of the songs on R2Bees’ ‘Site 15’ album has finally made an appearance on the charts. ‘Picture’ featuring King Promise is number 19.

This week looks like a week for firsts. DJ Vyruski’s ‘Baby’ featuring Shatta Wale, KiDi and Kuami Eugene has taken the number 20 spot.

Dope Nation’s ‘Naami’, Captain Planet’s ‘I Miss You Die’ and ‘Stay With Me’ by Real MC featuring KD Bakes have pushed off the charts by these new songs. They had a good run though but never say never, they may bounce back.

Truthfully, the 2019 releases are showing themselves on the charts, watch this space to find out which new song will make it on the charts and which old song will leave.
