Agyemang Badu diagnosed with lungs problem
Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is currently receiving treatment at the hospital due to lung problems.
The player has been diagnosed with a pulmonary microembolism – a blood clot in the lungs.
Hellas Verona on Wednesday confirmed the that the 28-year-old is being kept in at the Sacro Cuore hospital in Negrar
“The player’s conditions are good and he will remain under observation for a few days.”
“This is a small blood clot in the lung, which can be extremely serious, even fatal, if not treated.”
Agyemang Badu moved to Hellas Verona on loan from Udinese this summer and has been involved in the team’s preseason.
He is likely to miss his side’s Serie A opener against Bologna on Sunday.
