Kotoko CEO Dr. Kwame Kyei has rescinded his decision to contest for the Ghana Football Association Presidency.
Dr. Kyei was said to have considered his chances of being the next FA President and was ready to contest for the position.
But latest development indicate the businessman has decided to back down on his decision leaving the race for Fred Pappoe, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Kurt Okraku, George Afriyie, Dr Toni Aubynn and Winful Osei Kwaku “Palmer” who have all declared their intentions to contest.
The Normalization Committee on Monday opened nomination for interested persons to pick up their forms.
George Afriyie and Winful Osei “Palmer” have all reportedly picked up their forms.
An election will be held on October 25 to choose a new FA President to replace Kwasi Nyantakyi who has been out of office for the past one year having been caught in a scandal.
