Revealed: Kotoko dissolved Communications Teams over Adingra announcement
Asante Kotoko dissolved their Communications Team over social media announcement Moussa Adingra signing, Asempa FM’s Sports Nite has reported.
The Porcupine Warriors announced on Tuesday that it has dismissed everybody in their 12-member Communications Team as part of the process to restructure the club according to the Public Relations Officer Samuel Sarfo Duku.
However, Asempa FM’s Kumasi correspondent Nana Agyemang has reported that the club’s hierarchy was not impressed with how the team announced the signing of the striker last week.
However just a week after the big announcement the striker’s contract has been terminated and his name taken off their CAF Champions League squad list.
Kotoko announced on Monday that they have terminated their contract with the former Lobi Stars striker just a week after announcing a deal with him.
Nana Agyemang, a Kumasi-based broadcast journalist, reported on Tuesday night’s show that Kotoko are yet to pay the signing on fee of the burly striker.
The player and his representatives are unhappy about the situation and will officially communicate their feelings to the hierarchy of the two-time African champions.
Adingra has hogged the headlines in the West African country after a video went viral of him attempting a failed freestyle display at Kotoko’s Adako Jachie Training Grounds.
Kotoko have named an initial 27-man squad for next season’s CAF Champions League with the Ivorian axed and dismissed.
