Mohammed Salisu ruled out of Ghana’s AFCON qualifier against South Africa with injury
Ghana have been dealt with another injury blow after Real Valladolid confirms defender Mohammed Salisu has suffered an injury.
The center back picked up a hand injury in his side’s League match against Deportivo Alaves ruling him out of the game against South Africa on Thursday.
This means the youngster will have to wait a little longer to make his Black Stars debut.
“Salisu will have to wait for his debut with the Ghanaian national team. The left-hander, who has dragged back discomfort for several weeks, reported after the game against Deportivo Alavés a sharp pain in the lower back that forces sports rest.” The Club confirmed.
Coach Kwesi Appiah will now have Joseph Aidoo, Nicholas Opoku and Kassim Nuhu Adams as the only available options.
Already the Coach will be missing the services of Harrison Afful and Mubarak Wakaso through injury.
