GFA ELECTIONS: Palmer’s appeal rejected
Winfred Kwaku Osei “Palmer” appeal against the vetting Committees decision to disqualify him from the Ghana Football Association has been rejected.
A statement signed by normalization committee member Naa Adofoley Nortey claims the Tema Youth bankroller’s appeal was unsuccessful.
This according to the Normalization Committee was due to late submission of documents from the football administrator.
“Palmer” could not meet the deadline for the appeal hence must now look at other options.
Already reports say he has embarked to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to present his compliant.
Further reports also indicate the apprehensive football mogul is planning to place an injunction on the elections scheduled for October 23.
Amanda Clinton, Lawyer Ankomah Mensah, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Kurt Okraku, George Afriyie and Fred Pappoe remain the eligible candidates to contest for the position.
