Kotoko: Sacked Ivorian striker Adingra to take action over unpaid fee
Asempa FM’s Sports Nite Show have reported that Ivorian striker Moussa Adingra and his representatives are set to take action against Asante Kotoko over unpaid sign-on fee.
Kotoko announced on Monday that they have terminated their contract with the former Lobi Stars striker just a week after announcing a deal with him.
Nana Agyemang, a Kumasi-based broadcast journalist, reported on Tuesday night’s show that Kotoko are yet to pay the signing on fee of the burly striker.
The player and his representatives are unhappy about the situation and will officially communicate their feelings to the hierarchy of the two-time African champions.
Adingra has hogged the headlines in the West African country after a video went viral of him attempting a failed freestyle display at Kotoko’s Adako Jachie Training Grounds.
Kotoko have named an initial 27-man squad for next season’s CAF Champions League with the Ivorian axed and dismissed.
